2. What data we process
- Browsing data. When you visit the website, the server that hosts it automatically records some technical information: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type. It is used only to run the website and protect it from abuse; we do not use it to identify you.
- Data you send us. When you email us, phone us or use the “Request a consultation” form, we process the data you choose to give us: name, organisation or company, email address, phone number and the content of your request. The form does not store anything on the website: it opens your email program with the message already filled in, and the data only reach us if you choose to send the email.
3. Why we process it and on what legal basis
- To answer your requests and send you information and quotes: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To manage any supply, service or spare-parts contract: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To comply with legal obligations, such as accounting and tax rules: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- To keep the website working and secure: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Cookies and tracking
The website uses no profiling cookies and no analytics or advertising tools, and it does not share browsing data with social networks. It stores only one technical note in your browser (whether you have already closed the language suggestion), which does not identify you and needs no consent.
5. How long we keep the data
- Browsing data: only as long as needed for the security of the service, according to the hosting provider’s technical timescales.
- Requests that lead to nothing further: up to 24 months after the last contact.
- If a business relationship follows: for its duration and then for the period required by civil and tax law (normally 10 years).
6. Who may receive the data
Your data are never sold or published. Only the authorised people in our shipyard and the providers that help us run the website, email or accounting can access them, appointed as data processors where the law requires. Data are disclosed to public authorities only when the law requires it.
7. Transfers outside the European Union
Our email is run on Microsoft Outlook (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd, Dublin), which processes data as our processor. Microsoft may also process some data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States: these transfers rely on the EU-U.S. adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in which Microsoft participates) and on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission (Arts. 45–46 GDPR).
8. Do you have to give us your data?
No, it is your choice. Without contact details, however, we cannot reply to you.
9. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or erase your data, restrict its processing, receive it in a readable format (portability) or object to processing based on legitimate interest (Arts. 15–21 GDPR): just write to info@nettunomotobarche.it. We make no automated decisions and do no profiling.
If you believe the processing breaches the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live or work.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy: the version in force is always the one published on this page.
